Im 12, home schooled and need a summer job!?

I am wanting to make some money and usually i do that by cleaning up the house, babysitting and things like that! Its okay and all but its summer and i want to do some real work! My parents own Atlantis Pools and i wanted to work for them but they said im to young to be taken seriously. I live down here at the beach and i want to work a lot this summer but i still want to get tan.... I was thinking about washing cars, yard work, and things like that. I was wondering how old you have to be to push the lemon ice cart at the beach down here in Myrtle Beach.... Anyone know? Thanks!
