Ending marital separation?

Funny question..Let's say my husband took a job in another state and moved there before me. But, because of a parents grave health problems I decided to stick around to help my mom and spend time with my dad (who was suffering of a deadly disease) for his final few months. Now I want to move with my husband. But, he has decided bc he is a jerk that I cannot move in with him now. It has not been a year of separation, not even close, and he never filed for separation. If i showed up at the house, demanding to be let in, and he decided to call the police, to have me removed from the property, could they legally do so? Wouldn't he have to let me in legally since I am still his wife? I know the biggest question youmay have for me is why would I want to go live with a jerk, but, this question is just hypothetical. All of our mail was forwarded to this address and I do not have access to it. No. I do not have a key, (and would not force my way in,) and he did not add my name to the lease. Would the police have to make him let me in , unless he filed for separation ? I am in SC he is in GA, Or ,if he did not call the police, could I call ther police to make him let me in? Yes, the fun NEVER stops! Just going over some options to annoy him. Our house sold a couple of months ago , I am staying with my mom.Thank you for humoring me, with answering this off the wall question.
