Why would a child do this?

Doing this may give the little girl a chance to do something rebellious without getting in trouble. She knows to behave hersef, but wants that little adrenaline rush without the consequences. Because she does not like being singled out, she probably thought that this would allow her to haved a little fun without the consequences.
