How can you take a picture of your computer screen ?

I'm trying to copy and paste my senior pictures from prestige and I already tried the "ctrl and prnt sc" and the picture didn't show up, is there any other way i get get it. I also tried dragging it but it came out too small and when you make it bigger it turns out all blurry
