What book should I read next?

I've been having trouble finding a new book/author to read that I can really get into. Nothing is really catching my interest. I used to read a lot of Chuck Palhaniuk, and other authers like Graham Joyce, and Kurt Vonnegut. I mostly read fiction and am generally looking for a good, well written story. I also really like SOME Stephen King, like Hearts in Atlantis and the Green Mile, not so much his scary stuff. I have been wandering libraries and bookstores for a few months now and can not find anyting new to read! Please help!
